How the points work
The Women’s Racing Series is a class within the Formula Pro USA Western Championship, not a separate race. Its drivers compete in the same FPUSA-4 field as everyone else and score championship points on their overall finishing position in that mixed field, not on their position among the women. The championship is those points counted across the female entrants.
That is why the standings above can look counter-intuitive. In 2025 Ana Palestro won as many class races as the eventual champion and still lost the title by four points, because points followed the overall order.
